Some Pictures

It's late and I'm sleepy, but I wanted to post some pictures from our crazy week, for your viewing pleasure. Or for your viewing displeasure, depending on how you feel about plaster dust and piles of debris...

One of the best things about the week? Our new favorite neighbor, Spike! He's such a good little puppy. We love him, and kind of hope that he ends up as our doggie. 

This is the dining room. When we got there on Thursday, it was fully plastered, had five-inch PLUS trim around all doors and windows, 8 inch baseboards and a plate rail the entire way around the room. We saved all that, but I tell you, I never ever want to do that again... In here, we're going to just re-drywall and re-install all the trim. This was where the majority of the water damage happened--and it was bad.

Well...

It's official!!! We're homeowners!

Will put up some pictures tonight, as I have to get ready for work, and because I can't find the cord for the camera.

Ahhh, memories

One year ago today, I was wigging out. Buying flowers at Trader Joe's, struggling to fit them in a cab to take me over to the Jurys, getting bagels and donuts to feed the fam, and taking a wonderful historic tour of Boston. Yes, it is our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY today!

Pretty unbelievable, actually. It doesn't feel like it's been a year. In some ways, a lot has changed, like my job, buying a house, and planning a move. But in a lot of other ways, nothing has changed. We still love each other like crazy, and Eric still leaves his socks on the bathroom floor every single night.

Anyway, it's a busy day, and I can't linger. I hope everyone reading this is doing well. :)
